We’re looking for a Media Analyst to join our small, but growing team. The successful candidate should have great craft skills around media effectiveness and measurement, and an interest in the work media agencies do.

Our work is largely focused on understanding relationships between channel activity and business outcomes, often in the form of media tests but also looking at overall uplifts and relating them back to both activity and intermediate metrics. We don’t do econometrics – we believe that should be outsourced to an expert third party – but we do draw on a lot of similar techniques in the work we do.

Goodstuff has a comms planning background and is known for our Inventive approach to client briefs. This heritage remains core to our agency proposition, but we are now committed to building a far more significant range of data and analytics services and draw far more on this work to inform our planning. As such, we believe this is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that has a key role in evolving a successful and well-regarded agency. This role will report to our Senior Media Analyst.

Responsibilities include;

  • Preparing data for analysis, including but not limited to collating and formatting
  • Conducting initial analysis – focussed on relationships between channel activity and outcomes (business and intermediate)
  • Push innovation and improved methods with fresh ideas and methodologies
  • Supporting planning teams with Google Analytics or advanced Excel work
  • Presenting results to internal Goodstuff teams and other members of the Data and Insights team
  • Building relationships with client-side data teams, and our 3rd party suppliers
  • Work efficiently and keep a regular, accurate record of time spent on different projects
  • Embody the Goodstuff values
  • Take an active part in our vibrant internal culture
  • Get involved in activities or initiatives outside the core work role
