• Considerable experience working in Paid Search
  • Additional experience in paid social, Programmatic, ad serving or video is a bonus

The Goodstuff Digital Director blends excellence in Paid Search with strong leadership skills, delivering great work, a happy team and delighted clients. They are responsible for leading responses to investment briefs, utilising their team and resources to deliver inventive and effective solutions. They have a thorough knowledge of paid search best practice and provide strong, evidence-led recommendations to the planning team and our clients.

The ideal candidate for this role should be opinionated on search practices and strategic positioning, entrepreneurial in their approach, whilst having a commercial mindset that understands the impact of paid search on our client’s ability to attract and convert customers.

  • Lead on a range of search briefs, translating media strategies into ideas and plans that lead to the very best results for clients
  • Engage with industry developments and relevant media owners, identifying new opportunities for clients
  • Key point of contact to deliver and build on our relationship with Google
  • Oversee delivery of insightful PCAs
  • Confidently lead channel discussions in internal and external meetings
  • Confidentially interrogate and challenge briefs
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the role search plays in our clients’ business and in answering the brief
  • Write and deliver integrated and compelling presentations
  • Direct day to day agenda, controlling workflow and deliverables
  • Create clarity around team roles and responsibilities, skilfully delegating to ensuring the team are performing the right tasks
  • Responsible for the overall quality and delivery of work of direct reports
  • Create strong relationships with direct reports, providing regular feedback and effective appraisals and 1:1s
  • Understand and support the commercial requirements of the business
  • Oversee frictionless financial by instilling best practice across the team
  • Support direct reports in efficient management of invoicing processes and quick issue resolution Ensure accurate and consistent weekly completion of timesheets and those of direct reports
